Abstract:
Provided is a mixing device (20) including: a surface elastic wave element (27)
arranged in a vessel (5) holding a liquid and generating a sound wave toward the
liquid; and drive units (24, 25) driving the surface elastic wave element. Also
provided are a method for judging failure of the mixing device and an analysis
device. The mixing device (20) includes: a detection circuit (26) for detecting
reflected power reflected from the surface elastic wave element; and a judging
unit (23a) for judging whether failure is present according to the reflected
power detected by the detection circuit (26). The judging unit judges that the
device has failed when a difference between the driven-period reflected power
reflected from the surface elastic wave element during drive and a reference
reflected power of the surface elastic wave element in the same drive frequency
exceeds a predetermined value.
