Abstract:
A mixing faucet having a temperature adjustment dial (D) and a tubular casing
(1) in which a hot water inlet (a) and a cold water inlet (b) are formed, wherein
the mixing faucet further has a control valve body (2) and temperature adjustment
means (8, 900). The control valve body (2) receives at one end a load from an urging
body (4) and at the other end a load from an actuator (5) and changes the proportion
of opening and closing of the hot water inlet (a) and the cold water inlet (b) depending
on the balance of the loads that the control valve body receives from the urging
body (4) and the actuator (5). Thus, the control valve body (2) adjusts the mixture
ratio between hot water incoming from the hot water inlet (a) and cold water incoming
from the cold water inlet (b). In the temperature adjustment means (8, 900),
its one end is fixed to the temperature adjustment dial (D) and the other end adjusts
the position of the control valve body (2) through the urging body (4). A radially
expanding tapered skirt section (94) is formed at the temperature adjustment
means (8, 900) at its end on the control valve body (2) side.
