A mixing hook (70) and mixer employing same, the mixing hook comprising an output shaft connecting piece (71), a flexible connecting piece (72) and an mixing part (73); one end of the output shaft connecting piece (71) is connected to the output shaft (50) of the mixer; the flexible connecting piece (72) is disposed between the other end of the output shaft connecting piece (71) and the mixing part (73), and is fixedly connected to the output shaft connecting piece (71) and the mixing part (73) respectively; the flexible connecting piece (72) comprises an elastic flexible connecting part (722); the flexible connecting part (722) is elastically deformed during mixing to enable the mixing part (73) to swing or move up and down; the flexible connecting piece (72) automatically adjusts the gap between the mixing hook (70) and the inner wall of the mixer container (60) according to the viscosity and stiffness of the contents to be mixed when the mixing part (73) is heavily loaded, thus reducing the mechanical peak load and the amount of generated heat of a motor, and extending the continuous working hours of the mixer.
