Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a Mo-Si-B alloy having more excellent high-temperature strength characteristics, a method for manufacturing a Mo-Si-B alloy, and a tool for friction stir welding applicable to an Ni-based superalloy and a Ti alloy. [Solution] The present invention has 60 atomic% to 75 atomic% Mo, 1.7 atomic% to 6.7 atomic% Si, 3.3 atomic% to 13.3 atomic% B, 1.0 atomic% to 14.0 atomic% Ti, 1.0 atomic% to 14.0 atomic% Zr, and 5.0 atomic% to 15.0 atomic% C.
