Abstract:
Provided is an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) transmitter comprising: a quality of service (QoS) tag generator for generating a QoS tag defining the QoS information necessary for a mobile baseband data communication; an inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) block for modulating the generated QoS tag by using a modulation method suitable for the amplitude and the phase which are required for a carrier, and for performing an inverse Fourier transform; a frequency upconverter for putting the IFFT-processed QoS tag signal into a QoS tag-transmission frequency; and a transmission antenna for transmitting the QoS tag signal put into the QoS tag-transmission frequency. Also provided are an OFDM receiver having a structure corresponding to that of the OFDM transmitter, and a mobile baseband data communication system comprising the OFDM transmitter and the OFDM receiver.
