Abstract:

Provided is a mobile body control system that achieves social movement of a vehicle and achieves appropriate mutual concessions with a pedestrian by planning the movement of the vehicle while predicting the reaction of a pedestrian to the movement. This mobile body control system has a control device for controlling a mobile body, and an other-person position detection device for detecting the position of another person in the vicinity of the mobile body, wherein the control device is provided with: an own-planned-trajectory candidate calculation unit for calculating a plurality of planned trajectory candidates for the mobile body; an other-person predicted trajectory candidate calculation unit for calculating a reaction of the other person to each trajectory of the planned trajectory candidates, as a plurality of predicted trajectory candidates, on the basis of the position of the other person and the planned trajectory candidates; an other-person predicted behavior target calculation unit for calculating a predicted behavior target of the other person on the basis of the position of the other person; and an own-planned-trajectory selection unit for selecting an own-planned-trajectory from the plurality of planned trajectory candidates so as to achieve both a planned behavior target for the mobile body and the predicted behavior target of the other person, on the basis of the predicted trajectory candidates and the predicted behavior target.
