Abstract:
The mobile body detection device (100K) of the present invention is provided with a stillness index calculation unit (103) for calculating a stillness index representing, for each of a plurality of motion trajectories, the degree of likelihood of being a still object for the motion trajectory; a distance calculation unit (104) for calculating a distance representing the degree of similarity between motion trajectories; and an area detection unit. The area detection unit detects mobile object areas corresponding to the motion trajectories of mobile objects by performing, on the basis of the stillness indices for the motion trajectories and the distances between the motion trajectories, conversion processing such that the ratio of the geodesic distance between the motion trajectory of an arbitrary still object to the motion trajectory of an arbitrary mobile object, relative to the geodesic distance between the motion trajectories of arbitrary still objects, becomes larger than before conversion, and separating the motion trajectories of still objects from the motion trajectories of mobile objects, on the basis of the geodesic distances between the motion trajectories of the objects.
