Abstract:
A mobile body driven by power transmitted wirelessly from a noncontact power supply device equipped with a power transmission resonator that transmits power by a noncontact power transmission method, said mobile body being equipped with: a power reception resonator that receives power transmitted by the power transmission resonator; a power storage unit that stores the power received by the power reception resonator; a motor operated by the power stored in the power storage unit; a controller that controls the driving of the motor; and two or more wheels that are driven independently of each other by the motor, are equipped with a first axis of movement and second axis of movement the orientation of the axial line of which differs from the first axis of movement, and move the mobile body along the first axis of movement and the second axis of movement. The wheels move along a floor surface, and when the mobile body is located within a target power supply range the controller controls the motor on the basis of power reception status information indicating the power reception status of the power reception resonator, and rotationally moves the mobile body with reference to an axis of rotation, which is the center of the rotational movement wherein the angle of opposition of the power transmission resonator and the power reception resonator changes.
