Abstract:

A mobile communication method comprises: a process of performing positional registration to an LTE mobile communication system after a mobile station (UE) RRC-connected with a radio network control station (RNC) gets out of the service of a WCDMA mobile communication system; a process wherein when an exchange station (SGSN) receives a predetermined signal, the exchange station (SGSN) notifies the radio network control station (RNC) that the positional registration of the mobile station (UE) to the LTE mobile communication system is performed; and a process wherein in response to the notification from the exchange station (SGSN), the radio network control station (RNC) releases a resource for RRC connection without transmitting a signal for releasing the resource, to the mobile station (UE).
