Abstract:
A mobile communication system that comprises a gNB 200-1 and an IAB node 300-1. The IAB node 300-1 has a UE function and a gNB function and uses the UE function to establish a first wireless connection with the gNB 200-1. While maintaining the first wireless connection, the gNB 200-1 transmits to the IAB node 300-1 a message that establishes between the gNB 200-1 and the IAB node 300-1 a second wireless connection that is for the gNB function of the IAB node 300-1.
