Disclosed is a mobile communication terminal device comprising: an operation unit which receives operation input; an imaging unit which captures external images; a communication unit which communicates with other terminal equipment; and a control unit which, when communication is initiated with another communication terminal device having corresponding settings for transmitting images, initiates imaging performed by the imaging unit and transmits image information acquired by the imaging unit to the other communication terminal device with which communication has been initiated. The control unit is provided with a reality mode for transmitting the image information acquired by the imaging unit, and an augmented reality mode for processing and transmitting the image information acquired by the imaging unit. It is therefore possible to readily notify a communication partner of the location of the user of the mobile communication terminal device and the surrounding conditions in an easy to understand manner.
