Abstract:
A mobile communication terminal (10) receives a parameter "HCS_PRIO"
contained in report information (SystemInformationBlock Type 3) on the base
station (1 or 3) currently receiving a service. According to the reception result,
the mobile communication terminal (10) judges whether it is located "indoor"
and "in a still state or a low-speed moving state". If it is judged
that the mobile communication terminal (10) is located "indoor"
and "in a still state or a low-speed moving state", the possibility
for making a radio LAN connection is high and the mobile communication terminal
(10) shortens the cycle for monitoring arrival of a beacon signal.
