Title:
MOBILE DEVICE FOR ANTIMICROBIAL OPENING OF DOORS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/017521
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The device according to the invention for antimicrobial opening of doors serves to effectively reduce paths of microbiological transmission from surfaces, e.g. door handles, to the palms of the hands. The object of the invention is therefore to develop a device for antimicrobial opening of doors that is easy to handle and that is at the same time highly efficient and inexpensive to produce. The device according to the invention consists of a grip part adapted to the palms of the hands and having, connected to its distal end, a curved, hook-like part. The grip part is hollow on the inside, such that it is suitable for receiving disinfecting agent. The grip part consists of a cylinder open at one end. At its proximal end, it is provided with a dosing attachment. The dosing attachment is preferably a spray attachment. In another embodiment, the cylinder open at one end serves to receive commercially available disinfection vials.
