Abstract:

Provided is a mobile electronic device capable of reflecting a user’s intention. While an initial screen (100) for waiting for an incoming-call is being displayed on an LCD display unit (21), a control unit (45) performs control so that a first type symbol display region (101) and a second type symbol display region (102) are displayed on the LCD display unit (21) in place of the initial screen (100), wherein the first type symbol display region (101) is a region for, when any of first keys is pressed down, displaying a first type symbol (for example, a number such as “1”, “2”, “3”) assigned to the pressed first key and the second type symbol display region (102) is a region for displaying a second type symbol (for example, “a”, “i”, “u”, etc. in Japanese Hiragana letter ) assigned to the pressed first key.
