Description:
Mobile equipment for practising and platin golf Field of invention This invention relates to an equipment allowing to play golf also outside a golf playground thus making it accessible to amateurs and beginners, for which access to golf playgrounds is rather problematic.

Description of prior art A facility for practising golf known up to now are primarily real golf playgrounds. With respect to a demanding maintenance of the golf playgrounds and requirements imposed on their users the golf playgrounds are mostly accessible only to those who have reached an appropriate level of play technique, hence virtually only to golf club members. Access to this sport by amateurs or beginners is rather difficult.

These circumstances have led to development of a mobile equipment for practising golf ball strikes (PV 2001-1435), which permits a comfortable practice of golf strikes even in limited spaces of various terrain thus eliminating dependence of the practice on availability of golf playgrounds.

Besides shortening of ball flight range the main advantage of the above device according to PV 2001-1435 is an automated return of the ball to the starting position. The fact that the same ball is used repeatedly partly makes possible to employ a quality ball having required parameters and to eliminate losses of balls common during classical practising up to now, partly results in a considerable time saving. Despite the above advantages use of the device according to PV 2001-1435 is limited by the fact that it is intended primarily for practice of golf ball strikes alone without a possibility to. play golf in a limited space.

Nature of the invention The above disadvantages and shortcomings of the golf means and equipment known up to now are eliminated to a considerable extent by a mobile device for practising and playing golf according to the present invention. The nature of the invention consists in the fact that for a golf game comprising a series of real golf ball strikes and their projection and synthesis on a simulated golf playground, the device according to the invention comprises, in addition to means or equipment for golf ball strikes according to the invention, a means for aiming ball landing place, the said means comprising a base on which an angle gauge is positioned and an aiming device carrier is placed rotatingly above the angle gauge, the said carrier being provided with an indicator, with the aiming device being placed on a joint in the upper part of the aiming device carrier, the arms of the aiming device being fitted with a view finder. Further, the device incorporates a transscriptor of the place of ball landing in the simulated playground comprising, in graphical form, an angle gauge and a proportional length measuring rule attached rotationally thereto or, in electronic form, an analogical transscriptor of the ball landing place. Finally, the device comprises a simulated golf playground represented by a diminished picture of a real golf playground either in a graphical or electronic form, including a means or an equipment for recording place of landing of the golf balls in the playground.

The mobile device for practising and playing golf according to the present invention employs advantageously a portable device for practising golf ball strikes with an automated return of the ball into the initial position as an equipment for making the golf ball strikes.

The view finder of the device for practising and playing golf according to the present invention can be fitted with optics or electronics.

The device according to the present invention can be provided with a software for automated transfer of real golf ball strikes into a simulated electronic golf playground, in which trajectories of golf ball strikes made by separate players can thus be recorded continuously.

Brief description of the drawings Embodiment of the invention according to the invention is shown in the attached drawing, of which: - FIG. 1 shows the device for aiming place of the ball landing - FIG. 2 shows the transscriptor of the ball landing place in the simulated playground.

Description of the preferred embodiments From the attached drawing, Fig. 1, it is apparent that the aiming device of the depicted equipment is carried by carrier 1, on which angle gauge 2 is placed and carrier 3 of the aiming device is positioned rotationally above the angle gauge with indicator 4 being attached firmly to the said carrier. In the upper part of the aiming device carrier 3 aiming device 6 rests on joint 5, with the arms of the said aiming device being fitted with view finder 7.

Fig. 2 illustrates transscriptor of ball landing place in the simulated playground in its basic graphical version. It is evident from the figure that the transscriptor comprises angle gauge 8 and proportional length measuring rule 9 attached thereto in a rotational manner. The last not shown part of the device is a diminished picture of a real golf playground, in this embodiment in a graphical form, i. e. virtually a simulated golf playground.

The exemplary embodiment of the invention employs a portable device for performing golf ball strikes with a shortened flight range and automated return of the ball into the initial position. This device records ball flying distance. After landing of the ball, aiming device 6 is turned to the ball landing place with the aid of the view finder 7 and an angle co-ordinate of that place with respect to the basic line passing through the ball starting point is read off.

Using the transscriptor according to Fig. 2 the co-ordinates obtained of real position of the ball, namely distance and angle, are transferred into the simulated golf playground and thus the first ball landing point is recorded. Simultaneously, the real ball is returned to the starting position where it is ready for another strike. A series of strikes transferred into the simulated playground will then gradually create a ball trajectory in this playground, however, according to organisation of the game, mostly simultaneously trajectories of ball strikes made by several players. In this way it is proceeded until a putting green or directly a hole are reached, thus creating a basis for the golf game.

The device according to the invention offers a possibility of enjoying the game to everybody interested in golf including beginners since its use is not dependent on existence or availability of a golf playground. Simultaneously, it represents a very good addition to the portable device for practising golf ball strikes described in PV 2001-1435, which is also independent of golf playgrounds since a combination of both devices offers possibility not only to practise golf ball strikes but also to play golf as such. The electronic version of virtually all steps of transfer of real strikes into a simulated playground further increases comfort of play, which can, however, be used successfully also in the original graphical form. A great advantage of the device for users is also low mass and ease of operation of the device.
