Abstract:
The present invention reduces maximum electric power consumption in a system for capturing images of the surroundings of a mobile object by a plurality of cameras. A mobile imaging system is provided with: a first camera (11) which acquires a first image by capturing an image of a first imaging region around a mobile object (1); a first illuminating device (12) which illuminates the first imaging region; a second camera (14) which acquires a second image by capturing an image of a second imaging region the position of which in a circumferential direction with the traveling direction of the mobile object (1) as the axis thereof differs from the first imaging region; a second illuminating device (15) which illuminates the second imaging region; and a control unit (2) which performs control such that the first illuminating device (12) and the second illuminating device (15) do not emit light simultaneously, and performs control such that the first camera (1) acquires the first image while the first illuminating device (12) emits light to illuminate the first imaging region, and the second camera (14) acquires the second image while the second illuminating device (15) emits light to illuminate the second imaging region.
