Technical field and Background

Hundreds of communication and telecommunication methods and systems were implemented over the previous years defining the vitality and need of such systems in our everyday lives.

The cellular or mobile phone industry has become one of the fastest and most successfully growing industries in the world. The use and functionality of such devises, had led to their wide spread, proving that a whole new glamorous future is awaiting that particular industry.

Unfortunately, the total control of telecommunication service providers formulating monopolies in many countries around the world, had forced the communication industry to become profit oriented rather than customer oriented.

In almost all telecommunication service providers, customers are forced to pay the costs of expensive phone calls and restricted to a small number of characters when sending a Short Messaging service or SMS. In addition, monthly subscriptions and charges are implemented with any additional service(s) that a customer is willing to posses.

The time has come, to bring an end to this monopoly. The next generation of telecommunication services are about to be introduced, where the customer is in full control of his choices, and where the barrier of high costs and restrictions is demolished.

We hereby introduce the Mobile Integrated Communication (MIC).

Disclosure of the MlC

The MIC is an integrated All-in-One application that offers various useful features to users. The idea of integrating all services in one package will reduce cost and save effort on users as they will not need to install and purchase several applications on their mobile device. Basically, by installing one application (MIC), it will cover all their communication needs.

The MIC application is developed with a user-friendly interface that gives all users a chance to enjoy using the services provided without hassle. Users are not required to have in depth mobile knowledge or training to work, install or operate with the MIC application.

The application does not require any additional tools from the Service Provider to operate. It can work using existing services such as General Packet Radio System GPRS in which the MIC will modify automatically to make it more economical and user friendly ( capture and shrink system- see bellow) . The MIC application is one of its kind, as it provides various services in one package.

The application has several useful services / modules (MIC package) such as:

Detailed description of the MIC

Integrated Messaging Service or MIC is developed based on Java technology; hence it can fully function in most mobile devices available in the market. The MIC is composed of the following applications:

Voice Messaging Service or (VMS)

The VMS is an internationally patented technology, registered and filed under my name, Mr. Omran Sultan Al Hallami, Patent Cooperation Treaty number

(PCT/IB2006/001872).

VMS, where the voice is compressed using the new Audio Compression

Technology (OMR), is a new system that permits users to send, share and store recorded voice messages from mobile devices through existing services such as

SMS, MMS and GPRS. The VMS is sent in a very compressed and small manner to increase its content and decrease its cost.

Voice messaging service via Direct GPRS (without browsing) is implemented here in the MIC technology.

The VMS provides a very convenient method of sending voice messages instead of the traditional typing a Short Messaging service or SMS.

The VMS follows the same simple and clear procedure of sending SMS. The sending process is easy and simple to follow. In addition, it grants users greater flexibility, voice expression, live touch and greater possibilities as they can send voice instead of text

One of the strengths of the VMS features is that it uses the OMR Audio Compression,

Property sector, Patent Number 386/2006, which provides better compression results than the existing AMR. Hence giving users more talk time with the same amount of data limit given by the Service Provider, i.e. 2 MB

OMR compression provides the following advantages:

-Smaller file size

-Faster transmission time

-Cost effective as users can send longer voice messages at a smaller size and without the need to browse where lots of unwanted information is displayed, hence saving their GPRS capacity. -Voice printing or signature in any place around the world.

File Messaging Service (FMS)- Intrared Technology

The MIC contains the future replacement for Infrared and Bluetooth technologies, where one can transfer files of any type and size without being restricted to Range. The FMS grants users the ability to send various types of files to a mobile device without the need for any additional tools.

The FMS can be used in many personal and business applications, using its unique feature that saves time and effort on the user. Instead of sending/receiving files as email attachments and wasting all the time and effort, users can now simply transfer files using their mobile phone at anytime and anywhere without range limitations.

E-mail Messaging Service (EMS) that changes the desired mobile number into an e-mail address without the need of a service provider.

The MIC allows users to transfer their mobile number into an e-mail address, where they can easily send and receive e-mails without actual web browsing.

With EMS, users will get a chance to send emails directly from the application without the need to use any web browser in a more convenient and cost effective manner.

Unlike some web browsers that do not support email attachments, the application can send any file attachment by email.

Users using the EMS function will save plenty of time in the process of sending/receiving emails.

Long Messaging service (Patented by me, in the United Arab Emirates, patent number 2006/575

The Integrated Messaging System brings an end to the life cycle of an SMS, where it offers no limitation to the amount of characters sent by text messages through its fabulous Long Messaging Service. In addition, text messages are equipped with colors, different fonts, character size, animation and much more.

With the L-SMS users can send and receive text messages in the same convenient way as the traditional SMS Service. They can express themselves more by being able to send long SMS messages which are not restricted to 160 characters ( multiplied by several folds).

Users can add more color to their plain and traditional SMS with Color SMS.

This feature converts SMS messages into decorated graphics or attractive animations.

Other functions include scrolling and zooming are available to aid and facilitate the

SMS reading, which is particularly useful for handicapped or vision disturbed individuals.

Integrated MSN - YAHOO - Live Chat using mobile devices

The distinctive live chat feature that integrates the most popular live chat available, including MSN messenger and Yahoo messenger, adds superior value to the MIC system.

The Live Chat offers users the ability to chat instantly with their friends and relatives from anywhere.

This is one of the very few features available in the market that will connect to MSN and Yahoo Messenger

Remote File Access Service (RFAS)

The MIC RFAS allows you to access remotely the required desktop or laptop computer from any Java powered phone and Symbian mobiles. It allows you to browse through your files and documents and copy them to your mobile in order to share them from anywhere in the world.

MIC Free Player

MIC GPRS Meter

GPRS MB Cards

Other implementations that facilitate the uses MIC include implementing prepaid MB cards for GPRS use. This is similar to that of the prepaid card system, but tailed for MB usage. MB Cards is a new innovation that has never been practiced before, where the selling of such GPRS MB cards with different MB capacities is not known by the public. The cards can integrate directly with MIC GPRS Meter to enable users to know about there MB balance, usage and expenditure. The MB cards can be used for the MIC or web browsing based on the users' requirements. The MB capacity can be recharged by purchasing a new MB card.

Mobile Vision Lenses

This totally new invention symbolizes a plastic or glass piece that can be placed or fitted on the mobile screen. They come in different vision numerations. The user can get a Mobile Vision Lens which corresponds to his eye sight thus he would be able to clearly see the screen on his mobile phone without the need of wearing glasses or any other vision aid.

MIC Security and Protection

From the security point of view, MIC is considered to be the safest mobile software application. MIC guarantees to block the receiving of any known Virus, Worm or other known viruses. Integrated Messaging Service is equipped with the latest antivirus software which contains the latest data base of know viruses. Whatever is sent through the MIC technology shall be scanned first. Such diseased files will be blocked from being received, thus eliminating any threats to your data and mobile device.
