Abstract:
Provided is a mobile object guidance control device by which a mobile object can be easily guided. The mobile object guidance control device is provided with: a map information management unit that manages map information for a movement region of the mobile object; a travel route search unit that searches the map information managed by the map information management unit for a travel route passing through a measurement region of an absolute position measurement device; an absolute position measurement unit that measures the absolute position of the mobile object on the basis of measured results for the position of the mobile object as yielded by the absolute position measurement device; a mobile object movement estimation unit that estimates the movement of the mobile object on the basis of the measured results yielded by the absolute position measurement unit; and a transit point generation unit that breaks down the travel route returned by the travel route search unit to generate a transit point, and, when the mobile object travels toward the transit point and reaches the measurement region of the absolute position measurement device, replaces the transit point with a new transit point on the basis of estimated results yielded by the mobile object movement estimation unit.
