Abstract:
A mobile phone having two use modes, the mobile phone comprising a front panel provided with a display screen and a keyboard respectively arranged at the top and the bottom thereof. The display screen has a conventional gravity sensing function capable of automatically sensing whether the mobile phone is upside down so as to automatically adjust the vertical orientation of content in the display screen to maintain the displayed content in an upright orientation. Two ends of the mobile phone are respectively provided with a microphone assembly and a phone receiver assembly, each assembly being connected in a specific manner. The keyboard is a physical keyboard, and a character-marked button thereof is marked with two characters having the same meaning, the two characters being inverted vertically with respect to each other, or the character-marked button is marked with a character whose meaning does not depend on the vertical orientation thereof. The keyboard can also be a virtual keyboard controlled by a gravity sensing system so as to maintain the displayed virtual keyboard upright. The mobile phone only requires switching between two states, upright and inverted, to provide two holding modes to the user, namely a keyboard-up/screen-down mode and a keyboard-down/screen-up mode, with which users can operate the mobile phone. Accordingly, the user can select to use the traditional mode of operation or the keyboard-up/screen-down mode according to the situation, or according to different moods or interests thereof at different times.
