Abstract:
This utility model relates to devices used for monitoring surfaces and objects which may potentially be contaminated with gamma-, alpha- and beta-emitting nuclides. The mobile radio equipment includes an audio unit which is connected to a processor. The audio output of the audio unit is connected to the input of a measuring unit, which is the input of a step-up transformer, and the input of a microphone of the audio unit is connected to the output of the measuring unit, which is the output of an interface unit. The invention makes it possible to provide a mobile device which is simple and convenient to use on the basis of a well-known mobile telephone and which enables the on-line monitoring of radioactivity and the on-line transmission of the results of the radioactivity monitoring of a sample being monitored or an area being monitored.
