Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile robot which can be immersed in a fluid or tube containing fluid so as to collect information and remove impurities. For this purpose, the mobile robot of the present invention comprises: a robot body, at the axial center of which a motor and an impeller are embedded so as to generate the power and propulsive force required for moving the robot; a power source unit and a control unit arranged within the robot body so as to supply operating the power and control signals required for rotating the motor and the impeller, respectively; a plurality of measuring units arranged in the robot body to collect a variety of information on the fluid or the fluid in the tube; a communication unit arranged in the robot body to carry out communications for exchanging information between the control unit and an external control device; an impurity-crushing unit integrally formed with the front end of a rotating shaft of the motor so as to crush impurities on the moving path of the robot body in conjunction with the motor; and an impurity-collecting unit attachably/detachably arranged at the opening of the rear end of the robot body so as to collect impurities contained in the fluid flowing into the robot body. The mobile robot of the present invention autonomously moves by means of its own power and communicates with the external control device without interrupting the flow of the fluid or the flow of the fluid in the tube, so as to collect information on the fluid and remove impurities from the fluid.
