Description:
MOBILE SLAUGHTER HOUSE FOR SHEEP AND GOATS

Technical Field

Invention is about the mobile slaughter unit for slaughtering sheep and goats in a hygienic environment.

The invention is specifically about the mobile slaughter unit separating the line where the animal is slaughtered from the line where the animal is skinned and therefore ensuring a more hygienic environment with more available space.

Prior Art

Today various animals are slaughtered for their meat on sacrifice holiday or due to other occasions. In addition, there are slaughter houses operating continuously during the year. Meat produced through slaughtering in a fixed place all the time in slaughter houses are transferred to sales points under cold conditions.

Sacrificed animals are slaughtered outdoor during special occasions like the sacrifice holidays. This creates environmental pollution and unhealthy environments. Municipalities provide slaughtering areas to prevent his situation but these areas remain insufficient. And this results in piling up. Moreover, it fails to meet many needs for sacrifice animal slaughtering. Various improvements are in progress to eliminate this situation.

The previous technique provides less slaughtering capacity as it offers a dingle line for animal bleeding and processing. Skinning the animal in the same place where it is slaughtered prevents a hygienic environment.

The given technique uses manual animal lift system which results in various injuries. Therefore, labour processes become more difficult.

The given technique causes complexity and prolonged slaughtering processes due to confined slaughtering areas. Therefore, the number of slaughters is very low. The given technique does not offer transportation capability as the slaughter houses used is not mobile. This has a negative impact on the number of customers.

The literature studies suggest various set-ups for the said mobile slaughter units. One of them is the utility model titled "Ready-to-install storable mobilized slaughter unit" with application no.TR2007/05737. The synopsis for the inventions states, "The invention is about the transferrable slaughter units ensuring slaughter of animals in line with various needs including sacrifice, earthquakes, aid, etc., and it is characterized as a mobilized slaughter unit with end-to-end or side-by-side stackable frame which can be transported in closed position and intended for slaughtering animals in an hygienic environment which takes up small place enabling quick slaughtering and chopping of the animals after being transported to the desired area to create stackable slaughter houses composed of a slaughtering unit ready-to-use."

Another example of the said set-up is the utility model titled "Slaughter house for sheep and goats" with application no.TR2007/08500. The synopsis for the invention states, "This invention is about slaughter houses enabling quick slaughter of sheep and goat in a hygienic environment, and it is characterized by stackable, mobilized slaughter houses allowing easier installation equipped with a frame including a chopping line where sheep and goats are easily chopped after being inflated following their slaughtering on the folding gate in the front. This invention is about slaughter houses enabling quick slaughter of sheep and goat in a hygienic environment, and it is characterized by stackable, mobilized slaughter houses allowing easier installation equipped with a frame including a chopping line where sheep and goats are easily chopped after being inflated following their slaughtering on the folding gate in the front."

In the aforementioned applications, there is a single line composed of both the slaughter line where sheep and goats are slaughtered and meat procession units where they are skinned, the internal organs like tripe, etc. is removed and the meat is chopped. Therefore, these applications can be shown as an example for some of the disadvantages mentioned above. In conclusion, improvements are ongoing for mobile slaughter houses in parallel to the advancing technology and therefore new set-ups are required to eliminate the aforementioned disadvantages and address the current systems.

Detailed Description of An Example of Invention In this detailed description, preferred set-ups for the subject mobile slaughter houses (100) are explained only for better clarification of the subject without any restrictive impact.

It is a mobile slaughter house (100) composed of an animal entrance gate (11) from where the sheep and goats (90) enter the system from the animal entry direction (A); an animal processing line (30) where animals are skinned, etc. hanging from the animal processing hooks (41) after slaughtering; a chopping table (70) where the skinned animal's meat (90) is chopped; a transportation gate (32) where the meat chopped in the said chopping table (70) leaves the system from the meat exit direction (B), featuring an animal lifting hook (21) where animals (90) entering from the said animal entrance gate (1 ) are hanged; and an animal lift (20) transferring the animal hanged on the animal lift hook to the bleeding line (10) from the animal escalation direction (C).

Figure - 1 ; Perspective view of the ready-to-operate mobile slaughter house (10) in the application.

The said mobile slaughter house (100) is equipped with an animal entrance gate (11); blood collection platform (13) and bleeding channel (12); animal lift (20); animal bleeding line (10); double rail line (40); water tank (50); compressor (60); chopping table (70). The said components are fixed on the chassis (80) and this chassis (80) can be demounted when desired. During the assembly, the chassis (80) and therefore the slaughter house (100) are placed on the ground with the chassis stands (81).

Working principle

The animal entrance gate (11) of the mobile slaughter house (100) installed is opened. Sheep or goat to be slaughtered (90) is allowed to enter from the animal entrance gate (11) through the animal entrance direction (A). Then the sheep or goat (90) is hooked from its feet on the animal lifting hook (21) in the animal lift (20). The animal lifting hook and so the slaughtered animal moves through the animal escalation direction (C) thanks to the push palettes (22). During this process, the lifting hook (23) slides on the hook profile (24). Animal (90) moving in the animal escalation direction (C) is transferred to the animal bleeding line (10) to be slaughtered. The bleed is left to be drained in the animal bleeding line (10) and then the animal is transferred to the processing line (30). The blood of the animal slaughtered (90) is collected in the blood collection platform (13) without spreading around to be discharged from the animal bleeding line (10) through the bleeding channel (12). Figure 3 clearly shows the carrying process of the animal lift (20) while Figure 4 shows the animal lift (20).

The skin of the animal (90) is inflated before transferring to the animal processing line (30) using the air gun (14). This helps skinning process to be easier. The air gun (14) is supplied with air by the compressor (60).

Animal to be fed to the animal processing line (10) is hanged on the animal processing hook (41) from its feet. Skinning and removal of organs such as tripe, liver, etc. are completed at this stage, respectively. Animal moving in the animal processing direction (D) arrives before the chopping table after it is fully cleaned. Figure 5 shows the animal (90) processed in the animal processing line (30). As it will continue bleeding, the liquid waste on the floor like blood, etc. is discharged through the waste water channel (35) thanks to the water drained from the water outlets (34). Solid waste such as tripe, liver, etc. is discharged from the offal exit gates (31) on the back of the animal processing line (30). Water is supplied to the animal processing line (30) from the water tank (50).

Animal processing hook (41) is connected to the double rail profile (45) with the hook handle (44). In addition, the hook pulley (42) is placed on the double rail profile (43) under the double rail profile (45). This ensures easy and manual movement of the animal processing hook (41) in the animal processing direction (D). E Detail clearly shows the contact with the double rail profile (43) and hook pulley (42).

The double rail line (40) is composed of the aforementioned double rail main profile (45) and double rail profile (43), and Figure 6 provides a two dimensional view of the said double rail line (40). Animal moving in the animal processing direction (D) after completion of skinning and offal removal processes is carried in the meat exit direction (B) to be transferred to the chopping table (70) as described above. Here the meat is chopped as desired by the meat owners and delivered to the meat owners from the transfer gate (32). Figure 2 provides a two dimensional top view of the ready-to-slaughter mobile slaughter house (100) in the application.

When the slaughtering is fully completed, the mobile slaughter house (100) is demounted or animal entrance gate (11), meat exit gate (32) and windows 833) are closed after being fully washed using the water supplied from the water tank (50) to be carried to another place by a truck.
