Abstract:
A mobile station provided with the following: a neighboring-restriction-state acquisition unit that acquires restriction states of neighboring cells; a cell search unit that performs cell search on neighboring cells selected on the basis of the acquired restriction states; and a cell selection unit that selects a destination cell on the basis of the results of the cell search. This mobile station is thereby capable of reducing the congestion-avoidance processing load on base stations.
