A mobile station UE includes a measuring unit (13) and a determining unit (14) which determines whether to report a measurement result obtained by the measuring unit (13) in accordance with the measurement result and an a parameter for determination.  When the mobile station UE is in an intermittent reception state, the measuring unit (13) continues measurement even after the reception section ends if a predetermined condition is satisfied and stops the measurement if the predetermined condition is not satisfied before the determining unit (14) determines to transmit the measurement result.
