Abstract:
A mobile station UE is configured as follows. Upon detection of a failure in a radio link established between the mobile station UE and a radio base station eNB or upon detection of a cell to be position-registered by a cell selection process, an AS function reports the detection to a NAS function. In response to the report, the NAS function transmits a position registration request signal to an exchange station MME.
