A mobile terminal comprises an image processing module, a storage module, a first data transmission port and a shooting control module communicatively connected to one another. The shooting control module is configured to control, upon detecting an add-on camera connected to a mobile terminal, the add-on camera on the basis of a received shooting command to collect raw image data with shooting parameters corresponding to the shooting command. The first data transmission port is configured to receive the raw image data transmitted by the add-on camera and transmit the raw image data to the image processing module. The image processing module is configured to perform a corresponding process on the raw image data on the basis of a received image processing command. The storage module is configured to store the raw image data processed by the image processing module. The above described solution allows an add-on camera to be light-weighted and easy to mount and carry, thereby enabling more convenient fitting and use of the add-on camera with a mobile terminal.
