Abstract:
A mobile terminal device such as a mobile telephone capable of using an electronic money service. It is possible to provide a mobile terminal device capable of easily performing information management when building a value processing function in the mobile terminal device. An IC chip for a non-contact type IC card is built in a mobile telephone (7) having the Internet connection function. When the mobile telephone (7) is sold, the IC chip has no application program. After the mobile telephone (7) is purchased, a user connects the mobile telephone (7) to an electronic money server (2) and installs a value processing program in the IC chip. The electronic money server (2) and the mobile telephone (7) cooperate to perform building processing of the value processing function. In this building processing, the mobile telephone (7) receives secret information required for assuring security from the electronic money server (2) and builds it in the IC chip.
