Abstract:
Provided are: a water-stopping structure for obtaining a prescribed water-stopping performance without requiring management of a complicated assembly step; and a mobile terminal device capable of achieving a slim border for a display panel by using this water-stopping structure. This mobile terminal device is equipped with: a display panel (10) having a sound hole (10h); a sound output component (70) for outputting sound; immobilizing members (20, 61) having sound holes and having the sound output component immobilized on one side thereof, and the display panel positioned on the other side thereof; and a water-stopping member (62) comprising a circular adhesive member and being interposed between the display panel and the immobilizing members in a squashed state. Therein, the display panel (10), the water-stopping member (62), and the immobilizing members (20, 61) are configured in a manner such that the sound holes of the display panel (10) and of the immobilizing members (20, 61) are immobilized in positions connecting on the inside of the circular water-stopping member (62).
