Abstract:
Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a fall protection method therefor, wherein same belong to the technical field of electronic devices. The mobile terminal comprises a display panel, a middle frame, a rear housing, a protection module and a detection module, wherein the middle frame is mounted in the rear housing; the display panel is arranged on the middle frame; and the protection module comprises a damping elastic-block and an elastic-block control unit, wherein the damping elastic-block is mounted on the middle frame, and the elastic-block control unit is used for controlling the pop-out of the damping elastic-block when the detection module detects that the mobile terminal falls. At a moment when the mobile terminal falls to the ground, the damping elastic-block absorbs the momentum generated during the process of the mobile terminal falling, and reduces an instantaneous impact stress of the mobile terminal, thereby achieving the purpose of protecting modules without the occurrence of a phenomenon of stress concentration. In addition, because the damping elastic-block is arranged on the middle frame, the mobile terminal can be better protected, thereby avoiding the problems of screen breakage and internal module damage caused by the falling of the mobile terminal.
