Abstract:

The purpose of the mobile terminal of this invention is preventing malfunction due to unintended operation during operation using a finger sensor. In order to accomplish the purpose, the mobile terminal has the finger sensor which recognizes movement of the finger and a conversion part which converts the movement of the finger recognized by the finger sensor to an input event equivalent to operation instruction to an application operating on the mobile terminal. When a period between recognition of the separation of the finger from the finger sensor and recognition of the placing of the finger on the finger sensor is shorter than a predetermined length corresponding to human physical restriction, the conversion part does not convert the recognition of placing of the finger and the recognition of the movement of the finger in the period from the recognition of placing of the finger to the recognition of the next separation of the finger to this to the input event.
