Abstract:
A mobile terminal and a method for controlling a backlight source. The mobile terminal comprises two display screens, wherein the two display screens are rotatably connected by means of a rotating shaft, and each display screen comprises a housing and a backlight module accommodated in the housing; and two communicating windows respectively arranged on the first side of the housing of each display screen, wherein a first side of one display screen of the two display screens abuts a first side of the other display screen of the two display screens by means of the rotating shaft; and when the display faces of the two display screens are located in the same plane by means of turning, the communicating window of each display screen is opened, the backlight modules of the two display screens are in communication with each other so as to form a common backlight module, and the two display screens share the common backlight module.
