Abstract:
A mobile terminal (10) of a radio access system detects a communication quality such as a retransmission frequency and a packet error ratio in the radio link by RLP and converts it into an IP traffic class or a TCP window size. The IP or the TCP performs flow control according to it. Moreover, at a radio access point (12), quality information in an IP header or a TCP header is extracted and used to set the number of divisions of a packet and the number of retransmissions.
