Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention pertains to a mobile terminal having an autonomous navigation function, said mobile terminal comprising: an anchor management unit for acquiring orientation change points, which are estimated when a mobile terminal user changes orientation on a route from the user's departure place to a destination in map information, and for setting and storing the acquired orientation change points as anchor points; a measurement unit for detecting the movement of the mobile terminal, and for providing sensor information representing the movement; a position calculation unit for calculating the current position of the mobile terminal on the basis of the sensor information; a rotation detection unit for detecting the rotational movement of the user on the basis of the sensor information, and for determining the rotation points of the detected rotational movement; and a current position correction unit for determining the anchor points corresponding to the determined rotation points from the anchor points stored by the anchor management unit, and for correcting the current position of the mobile terminal according to the positions of the determined anchor points.
