Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a method and a device for automatic identification by a mobile terminal of a target language for voice translation, related to the mobile terminal field. Said method comprises: when a mobile terminal starts a voice translation function, acquiring the location of said mobile terminal; according to the location of the mobile terminal, obtaining a local language of the location of said mobile terminal; according to the local language of the location of the mobile terminal, determining a target language for voice translation. Automatically identifying a target language by means of combining GPS location and semantic identification, realizes the goal of automating target language choice for voice translation.
