Abstract:
Provided is a mobile unit communication system wherein power consumption at a network node in a local area range can be efficiently reduced. For example, an optical line termination unit (605) of a femto base station device (604) is provided with a disconnection detection unit (605b). The disconnection detection unit (605b) detects whether or not a backhaul, for example, an optical line termination unit (605a) that connects an HeNB (606) and an EPC (601), and the HeNB (606) are disconnected. When the disconnection detection unit (605b) detects the disconnection between the HeNB (606) and the optical line termination unit (605a), for example, by the failure of the optical line termination unit (605a), the HeNB (606) is shifted to an Energy Saving operation.
