Title:
MOBILE WIRELESS APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/026819
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
To reduce the number of antenna elements in a mobile wireless apparatus that can use a plurality of wireless functions having different wireless communication forms. A first antenna element (11) is connected by a switch circuit (15) to a first wireless part (13), which has functions of mobile wireless communication, such as telephone and emails, for performing a mobile wireless communication. At this moment, a second antenna element (12), which is not connected to the first wireless part (13), is connected by the switch circuit (15) to a second wireless part (14) and used for application functions of a mobile wireless apparatus (1) other than the mobile wireless communication, such as receptions of radio waves of GPS system, RF authentication wireless communication and short distance wireless communication. On the other hand, when it is determined that the characteristic of the second antenna element (12) is better because of the closing and opening states of the casings of the mobile wireless apparatus (1), the attitude of the mobile wireless apparatus (1) being used, the reception state or the like, the switch circuit (15) connects the second antenna element (12) to the first wireless part (13), while connecting the first antenna element (11) to the second wireless part (14).
