Abstract:
A mode switching method and apparatus, a terminal device, and a storage medium. A first operating system and a second operating system are at least installed in the terminal device, wherein the power consumption of the first operating system in a normal running state is higher than that of the second operating system. The method comprises: if a scenario change notification for a terminal device is received, acquiring target scenario information corresponding to a changed scenario; and when the target scenario information meets a mode switching condition corresponding to the scenario change notification, switching the terminal device from the current running mode, in which same is currently running, to a target running mode, wherein the running state and the running power consumption of the first operating system in the current running mode are different from those of the first operating system in the target running mode. By means of implementing the embodiments of the present application, different running modes can be automatically switched with regard to the actual usage scenario of a terminal device, so as to coordinate a plurality of operating systems to rationally run, thereby facilitating a reduction in the power consumption of the terminal device, and improving the efficiency and flexibility of the terminal device running different operating systems.
