Abstract:
Provided is a model estimation system with which it is possible to estimate a controllable discrete-time state space model. This model estimation system estimates a model of a system in which all coefficients are displayed using a non-zero ordinary differential equation and in which input data and a state are obtained for each point in time. When the rank of the ordinary differential equation and the input data and state for a plurality of past points in time in the system are inputted, a model formula construction means 22 constructs a formula representing a model by using: a first matrix in which only some elements are unknown, the first matrix corresponding to the inputted rank; and a second matrix in which only some elements are unknown, the second matrix corresponding to the inputted rank. A model estimation means 23 uses the input data and state for the plurality of past points in time to learn the unknown elements in the first matrix in the formula and the unknown elements in the second matrix in the formula and thereby estimate a model.
