The present disclosure provides a model file issuing method, a platform, a system, a terminal, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: a terminal sending, according to a target sticker triggered by a user, an algorithm acquisition request to a model file issuing platform, and receiving a sticker resource package fed back therefrom; the terminal determining, according to a pre-stored correspondence relationship table between algorithms and model files, a target model corresponding to a target algorithm in the sticker resource package, and deciding whether a model file of the target model is stored locally; and if not, the terminal sending to the model file issuing platform a request for downloading the model file of the target model, and acquiring the model file of the target model fed back therefrom. In this way, downloading of the model file is only performed if the user triggers a target sticker that does not have a corresponding model file stored locally on the terminal. The invention enables model files of an application to be located separately from other installation files of the application, thereby effectively reducing the size of the application installation package, and shortening the time for downloading the application installation package.
