Abstract:

Provided is a communication method for a modem, comprising: determining a current power supply mode; if determining that the current power supply mode is to supply power by a network device using a copper twisted pair, then a communication interface is switched to an electrical interface from a fiber interface; the electrical interface is connected to the network device through the copper twisted pair, the fiber interface is connected to a passive optical network through a fiber. Also provided are a modem, wireless charging method and device. The technical solution provided in the present invention allows the modem to provide service even after an external power source is cut off.
