Abstract:
This invention is about a method for refinement of caustic wastewater (spent caustic) oil and petrochemical unit; In addition to refinement of caustic wastewater, the chemical converts it into valuable products such as NaOH and Na2CO3. caustic sewage without phenol and sulfur and industrial oils that is completely transparent and odorless and its pollutant characteristics are appropriately below the limit of determination. The purification process is generally based on AWAO and Recovery Treatment which consists of three general steps, the first pre-refinement step with advanced wet-air oxidation which is without catalyst. The second stage of refinement and recycling of the new product is selectively due to the type of wastewater and the final stage is condensation and neutralization of outlet sewage and the possibility of replacement and selection of the type of acid according to the type of wastewater.
