Abstract:
Disclosed is a modified aromatic amine obtained by carrying out a treatment, selected from the group consisting of heat treatment, radiation irradiation treatment, and discharge treatment, on a composition including a metallic component, and an aromatic amine compound polymer represented by formula (1), with the polymer being obtained by intermolecularly joining a nitrogen atom, which forms an amine group that joins with an aromatic ring in a given molecule of the compound, and a carbon atom which forms an aromatic ring in another molecule of the compound. (In the formula: Ar represents a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon ring having a substituent group, an optionally substituted monocyclic aromatic heterocyclic ring, or an optionally substituted polycyclic aromatic ring, if Ar has two or more substituent groups, the substituent groups can either be the same or different, and at least one of the carbon atoms forming the aromatic ring has a hydrogen atom or a halogeno group; R1 is a hydrogen atom, a halogeno group, a hydroxy group, a carboxyl group, a mercapto group, a sulfonate group, an amine group, a nitro group, a phosphonate group, a silyl group substituted by a C 1-4 alkyl group, a C1-50 straight chain or branched alkyl group, a C3-50 cyclic alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an alkoxy group, a C6-60 aryl group, a C7-50 aralkyl group, or a monovalent heterocyclic group; and n is an integer of 1 or more, and when n is 2 or more R1 can be the same or different.)
