Abstract:
Disclosed are a modified cotton fibre, a preparation method therefor and use thereof. The preparation method therefor comprises the steps of: a cotton fibre and 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide are reacted to obtain brominated cotton; the brominated cotton is reacted with GMA to obtain cotton fibre-PGMA; the cotton fibre-PGMA and SMP are reacted to obtain cotton fibre-PGMA-PSMP; the cotton fibre-PGMA-PSMP and DETA are reacted to obtain cotton fibre-PGMA(DETA)-PSMP; and the cotton fibre-PGMA(DETA)-PSMP and TMPyP are reacted to obtain cotton fibre-PGMA(DETA)-PSMP-TMPyP. The resulting modified cotton fibre shows rapid colour development for Cd2+ and can reach 90% of the saturated adsorption capacity within 10 min. The porphyrin functional cotton fibre greatly increases the adsorption capacity for cadmium ions.
