Abstract:
The present invention provides the composition described below as a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition which is suppressed in thermal deterioration during heating such as melt kneading or melt molding. A modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition which contains a titanium compound and a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer that has a primary hydroxyl group structure unit in a side chain, wherein the content of the titanium compound in terms of elemental metal is not less than 0.001 ppm but less than 5 ppm per the mass of the modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition.
