Title:
MODIFIED FAB REGION-BINDING PEPTIDE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/136910
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a modified Fab region-binding peptide that exhibits excellent selective adsorption ability to the Fab region of IgG, while also allowing proteins containing the Fab region to be discharged by using a relatively high-pH acidic elution solution. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide an affinity separation matrix having the modified Fab region-binding peptide as a ligand, a method for producing a Fab region-containing protein using the affinity separation matrix, DNA coding for the modified Fab region-binding peptide, a vector comprising the DNA, and a transformant transformed by the vector. The problem is solved by making use of a protein G variant having an amino acid substitution mutation at a specific position.
