Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of wind turbine blade manufacturing, in particular to a modular blade connection structure, a method, and tooling. The structure comprises a first module, a second module, and a structural adhesive module, wherein an adhesive flange extending towards and into the second module is provided on an end surface of the first module; a structural adhesive is injected into a gap between abutment surfaces of the first module and the second module and is pressed and solidified to form the structural adhesive module; and a thickness of the first module at a starting end of the adhesive flange extends towards an inner surface to form a first reinforcing portion, and the structural adhesive module extends inside the second module in a direction away from the adhesive flange to form a second reinforcing portion. With the arrangement of the adhesive flange, the present disclosure can control an adhesion quality of double-sided overlapping of the modular blade; and with the first reinforcing portion formed by increasing the thickness of the first module and the second reinforcing portion formed by the overflow of the structural adhesive module, the anti-fatigue safety at an assembly position is improved, and the influences on the aerodynamic performance of the blade are reduced.
