Description:
MODULAR HANDBAG PACKAGE TECHNICAL FILED AND BACKGROUND ART The present utility model relates to a modular handbag or purse package.

Various types of handbags or purses are known, having different shapes, sizes, materials and colours according to their intended use.

However, the fashion industry evolves continuously and must always try to devise novelties to please the customer's taste or anyway to attract the customer, both by its intrinsic innovation and because the innovation meets the customer's specific demands.

The high cost of purses often limits their widespread use among women, who would like to be able to show off a new, or anyway different, purse every day.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION.

In this situation the Applicant has tried to solve this problem brilliantly and in simple and economical fashion by making available a plurality of modular handbags.

Said aims are fully achieved by the package of modular handbags of the present invention, which is characterised by the content of the claims set out below and in particular in that it comprises: a containment pouch ; a plurality of handbags or purses inserted in the pouch; at least a pair of handles able to be hitched in interchangeable fashion to all the aforesaid handbags or purses.

The handbags inserted in the pouch are preferably a large"week-end"bag, a medium sized"day"bag and small"evening"bag.

Preferably, the handles are provided with spring catch latching and the bags are

provided with eyelets for latching the handles.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION.

These and other features shall become more readily apparent from the description that follows of a preferred embodiment, illustrated purely by way of non limiting example in the accompanying figures in which: - Figure 1 shows a first handbag; - Figure 2 shows a second handbag; - Figure 3 shows a third handbag; - Figure 4 shows the containment pouch for the handbags; - Figure 5 schematically shows the elements contained in the pouch of Figure 4.

With reference to the Figures, the number 1 designates a first handbag, which in the illustrated case is a large, weekend type bag.

The reference number 2 designates a second handbag, in the illustrated case a medium sized"day"bag, and the number 3 designates a third bag, in the illustrated case a small "evening"bag.

All three handbags are made of extremely flexible fabric or leather and originally they are contained folded in a pouch 4.

The pouch 4 also houses at least a pair of handles 5 and 6 which can be indifferently applied to all three purses, although in the illustrated case the handle 5 is applied to the first handbag 1 and the handbag 6 to the second handbag 2.

Each handle is provided with means for removably engaging the handbag, constituted by spring catches 7 which engage eyelets 8 with which all handbags 1,2 and 3 are provided.

In this way the consumer can purchase a pouch containing a plurality of handbags which, originally, assume different configuration depending on whether they are worn

with or without handle and depending on the type of handle associated to each handbag.

All this within the context of a simple and economical solution.

The capability to fold the pouches is such that even bags of a certain size like the first handbag 1 can easily be contained in a pouch of smaller dimensions than the largest handbag contained therein.
