Description:
MODULAR RADIATING PANEL AND CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM FOR FLOORS COMPRISING SUCH PANEL

The present invention refers to a modular radiating panel and to a construction system for floors comprising such panel, in particular for dry laying.

Radiating panels are known in the art, which can be mutually approached and connected, to make a floor, with construction systems with radiating panels arranged for the following laying of a treadable flooring.

These known radiating panels and construction systems for floors provides for the use of panels, on which raceways are obtained to house ducts for a heat-conducting fluid for heating or cooling, and which are laid on the slab overlapped to layers of insulating and/or conductive materials, comprising for example a layer composed of a metal sheet, as disclosed in patent EP1161643.

These known radiating panels and constructions systems for floors have the problem of requiring the use of specialized workers for their laying, with consequent high building costs and times.

Another problem is that the panels have great thicknesses and weights, making their use problematic when restructuring existing buildings.

Object of the present invention is solving the above prior art problems, by providing a modular radiating panel and a construction system for floors which have reduced thickness and weight, and which allow a dry laying of the panels and of the treadable flooring which covers them, without making it necessary to use specialized workers.

Another object of the modular radiating panel and of the construction system of the invention is guaranteeing good performances from the energy point of view, allowing to obtain an improvement of thermal performances of the plant during restructuring interventions of existing buildings.

The above and other objects and advantages of the invention, as will result from the following description, are obtained with a modular radiating panel and a construction system for floors as claimed in the independent claims . Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variations of the present invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims.

It is intended that all enclosed claims are an integral part of the present description.

It will be immediately obvious that numerous variations and modifications (for example related to shape, sizes, arrangements and parts with equivalent functionality) can be made to what is described, without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the enclosed claims.

The present invention will be better described by some preferred embodiments thereof, provided as a non-limiting example, with reference to the enclosed drawings, in which Figure 1 is a partial exploded view of a first embodiment of a construction system for floors and of a modular radiating panel according to the present invention.

With reference to the Figurae, preferred embodiments of the modular radiating panel and of the construction system for floors of the present invention are shown and described.

The construction system 10 for floors of the present invention comprises:

a lower insulating panel 11 made of multilayer heat-reflecting insulating material and adapted to be laid on a slab or on a floor, at least one modular radiating panel 20, 25 overlapped to the lower insulating panel 11 and comprising recessed seats 21, 22, adapted to house ducts 23, 24 for a heat-conducting fluid,

a background panel 12 overlapped to the modular radiating panel 20, 25 and adapted to make a levelled surface for laying the flooring, and

a final treadable flooring layer 15, the lower insulating panel 11, the modular radiating panel 20, 25, and the background panel 12 being adapted to be dry laid, namely without using gluing agents or plasters; preferably also the final treadable flooring layer 15 is adapted to be dry laid, for example is made of floating wood.

Preferably, the construction system 10 for floors of the present invention comprises a plurality of modular radiating panels 20, 25 mutually connected by means of junction elements, and/or a plurality of lower insulating panels 11, and/or a plurality of background panels 12; more preferably, the modular radiating panels 20, 25 are connected as joints, for example fissati by means of junction elements, composed of small bars engaged inside grooves obtained in the edge of the modular radiating panels 20, 25. In a preferred way, the modular radiating panel of the invention comprises a first panel 20, in which substantially rectilinear seats 21 are obtained, adapted to house substantially rectilinear portions of ducts 23 for the heat- conducting fluid, and comprises a second panel 25 connected, preferably as joint, to the first panel 20, in which curved seats 22 are obtained, adapted to house curved portions 24 of ducts for the heat- conducting fluid.

Prefereably, the lower insulating panel 11 is composed of a small mattress made of thin multilayer heat-reflecting insulating material, preferably composed of multiple layers comprising for example metallized coating films with reinforcing grid, layers of foam alternated with reflecting films, layers of natural insulating material, all suitably assembled through thermal gluing or thread quilting, the modular radiating panel 20 is a re-composed wooden panel of the type known as OSB or LSB, for example made of poplar, the background panel 12 is made of gypsum with fibers or is a small laying mattress made of fabric of a type known for floors made of floating wood, and the final treadable flooring layer 15 can be of any type, for example porcelain stoneware, wood, natural marbles and granites.

Advantageously, the construction system 10 for floors according to the present invention allows making floors having reduced thickness and weight, and can be used in particular when restructuring buildings, allowing their dry laying without having to remove the existing floor, without making it necessary to employ speciaalized workers.

Moreover, the modular radiating panel 20, 25 and the construction system 10 of the invention guarantee good performances from the energy point of view, allowing to obtain an improvement of the thermal performances of the plant.

Advantageously, the modular radiating panel 20, 25 made of re-composed wood (OSB or LSB) allows obtaining the seats for the ducts through workings with machine tools, for example milling machines, which allow a wide flexibility in making the shape of the seats, adapting the panel to different types of ducts.

The construction system 10 for floors according to the present invention further allows using scarcely encumbrant panels with reduced thickness, which are therefore easy to be transported and laid, made with a limited number standardized components .
