Abstract:
The present invention relates to a modular unit (10) for an avalanche probe (14), wherein the modular unit (10) has: at least one antenna (46); a receiver device (48) which is coupled to the at least one antenna (46) in order to provide a receiving signal; a processing device (50) for processing the receiving signal and for providing an activation signal; an output device for receiving the activation signal and for outputting an output signal (54); a region (30) for receiving a current supply device for at least the receiver device (48) and the processing device (50); and a first connecting device (36) for coupling the modular unit (10) to the lower end of an avalanche probe (14). It relates furthermore to an avalanche probe in which the at least one antenna, the receiver device, the processing device, the output device and a region for receiving a current supply device are arranged in the lower third of the avalanche probe.
