Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of power supplies, and specifically, to a modular uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and an operation method thereof. The embodiments of the invention are implemented to fully utilize power modules (1, 2, 3, m, n) in the modular UPS to enhance system performance. The method comprises: acquiring operation parameters of a modular UPS, wherein the operation parameters comprise an input voltage parameter, a load parameter, and a battery parameter (31); and adjusting, according to at least one of the operation parameters of the modular UPS, operation modes of the power modules (1, 2, 3, m, n) in the modular UPS, to enable each of the power modules (1, 2, 3, m, n) to operate in a different operation mode (32), wherein the modular UPS comprises K power modules, and 2 ≤ K. The modular UPS and the operation method thereof are used in supplying power from the UPS.
